i read that there used to be a rune of energy. jus tthought id ask some of the more "expirienced" players if they were in the beta version and then removed, or if what i read was a bunch of lies

I'm pretty sure the only runes of "energy" ever were, and still are, Runes of Energy Storage. They are only available to characters with Elementalist as their primary profession.

I played beta and i dont recall any energy runes.

there were runes of "fury", which added adrenaline gain to warriors, but they were removed for balance reasons.

Actually, I thought the runes of fury just made the adrenaline you had already gained last longer without fading away. I didn't think they increased the amount of Adrenaline you gained per hit.

Yeah, that's what they did. I've never heard of an energy rune, though. Like unienaule said, elementalist energy storage runes give you points in energy storage (3 energy per point)

What an idea though... would you sacrifice 50 health for a major rune of energy? maybe if it gave you 10 extra energy?

minor rune would give +5, superior +15
