How to form a new guild

I am either looking in the wrong place or using the wrong key word search because I can find nothing on what the requirements are for establishing a new guild.

I found this thread on what these folks thought about requirements and that is all.


Being new to the game I would like to start a guild for those of us who are still pre-sear or who have recently been through the searing and are a level 15 or lower.

Can someone here answer this question or, if this has already been answered, point me to the answer?

There are 2 "vendors" in post-sear Ascalon near Tydus who you speak to. I think one is the emblemer (cape - 2pp?) and the other the registrar (guild - 1pp?). Just pay the cash and get a guild.

In Lions Arch you can get a guild hall but you need a sigil either by winning one in PvP, buying from vendor or buying from player (~50pp). Visit the captain on the dock to visit the halls, pick one and talk to the "ambassador".
