Maybe a strange question, but why do you want specificly Piercing Damage? Bonelace armo has +armor vs Piercing Dmg, and there's no armor with +armor vs Slashing Dmg, so why not take a Slashing Dmg axe?

Well, I like having both types of damage available. My current is req 11, which is a bit high, but this isn't urgent really. Req 10 should be okay as well.
