I have a Hand Axe. I also have a White Scythe. It seems to me that they are both identical in every way. Yet the White Scythe skin is worth more.
I don't get it.

And if so, do people actually do that? Do they go: "Hey buddy lookie here, I'm leeter than you because I have an axe that is identical to yours in every way, except for the name that appears on the tradescreen, which most people will never see. Unless of course I make a point of bragging about it and opening a tradescreen with you just to show you the name, like I am doing right now!"?
I suppose it also applies to CTRL + CLICKING one's weapon, the same sort of question applies in that case too.

I agree with you Navaros, but to a collector, it makes a world of difference knowing that you have something that only a few others have.
For example, a gold Aegis or Shield of the Wing with the EXACT SAME STATS as Malinon's Shield will likely go for 100K more.
Same thing for Sephis Axes - they have the same look as the Razorstone, but if you found one that had 14% over 50% it will go for 5-6 times the asking price for the green item.

I like that people hunt for these 'rare' skins as i personally have a bit of a different opinion about what looks good i get to sell items that people want and spend naff all buying things i like because people don't see them as worth as much.
