Mo/R

I'm pretty new to Guild Wars, got it a few days ago, and I've decided to give up my lvl 12 W/N for a monk. As i was looking through builds posted on this forum, I realized that there were very few Mo/R builds. Why is this? This I thought would be the first choice for someone to go with as a monk. (Mainly for Pvp) With throw dirst and whirling defense and blind, I would think that these would be a huge help to the class that is targeted first and the most in PvP fights. Am I missing something? Is Mo/R not that great?

thanks

i would think it it because you can't put any points in expertise, which is what throw dirt etc. is under.

Mo/R can be great if used well, Alot of monks in the random arena use Melandru's Resilience {Elite} and somthing like Draw Conditions, Another good combo is somthing like Serpent's Quickness and spellbreaker {Elite} or Shield of Judgement {Elite}. Just dont use to many stances. As for blind its better to be able to heal if you going for a healing monk, If your not, get ready for abuse, Happend to me with my smite monk, so i dont do PvP anymore

I've always wanted to put together a Symbiosis monk... but I've never been able to figure out how to keep the spirit alive while simultaneously healing my group members for upwards of 600.

Does it stack? That would rule if it did

If you want to take Symbiosis, try building a boon healer. When I use Word of Healing it looks something like this: +180 +42 +67 or +80 +42 +67.
