W/E and Mo/Me
Woutsie
I currently have a lvl20 W/E, still have Yak's Bend armor and I now realize this character is just not good enough... I have no descent Warrior weapon, I am using a staff... W/E is also not so good for farming, isn't it?
Now I started a Mo/Me (lvl4 now) because I really like those 2 professions, but my question is, is this a good character to farm with, later in the game against lvl20-24's?

I play a W/E and I've never had a problem with it. I admit I don't solo farm, but I know it is very feasible. There was a thread in the Builds Discussion forum about a W/E farmer just the other day.
On a side note, why in the world are you using low-level armor and a staff for a warrior primary?

Monks are pretty good farmers. They used to be the most popular build to solo with until they made AoE (Area of Effect) ineffective against ceatures. They are still good to farm solo if you have the right build but I'm sure that you will have to change to a Mo/W. If you do decide to change your second proffession, don't delete it. Wait till you have gotten to the desert and do the Warrior secondary quest found at Destiny's Gorge.

w/ele is not no good,u don like the playing style of it....if u like farming choose w/mo,just change the secondary class in the dessert,do a quest name called ''monk's path'',it is either in the 3 places, hero's audience, destiny's gorge or seeker's passage,do the quest to change ur secondary class,no need to change ur char. btw,mo/mes cant farm shit, they are only healers.

Mo/Me, like any other Mo/X, can farm really well. Really, with arcane echo + Shield of Judgement (and mantra of resolve) I think they are one of the best Griffon/Minotaur (and rockshots) farmers. Also they can solo UW.

I dont know why ppl are saying that you cant farm with a Mo/Me because you certainly can. I often switch my monks Secondary to mesmer to farm. The most simple mo/me farming build has been posted many times on this forum, but basically it uses a 55hp monk base for almost invulnerability and for damage use Sheild of Judgment and Archane Echo to copy it so that you can keep it going almost permanently. In also has the flexibility of being able to use skills like Mantra of Resolve so that in certain difficult areas you can be protected from interrupts.
Summary:-
Mo/Me can farm:
UW (very slow mind you)
Griffons
Trolls
Hydra
Ice imps

But which one should i get?
Platemail looks nice, but has no extra stats except for the +10 armor
Knights looks also nice, and has on 3 items recudes damage from attack. Does this helps something?
Gladiator has a bit more energy, I could use some energy btw, but its not much...

For a W/E, I definitely recommend Gladiator's for the energy bonus. You might also want to get an Ascalon or Knight's helm or boots for the damage reduction. As far as not having tons of money, you can also get some collector armor and weapons. Do a search here or go to www.guildwiki.org to find a list of what's available.

Knights boots for the global damage absorption.
Helm that matches your weapon/tactics/strength bonus.
Gladiators everywhere else.
Stonefist Gauntlets if a hammer user.
You can also get the basic 80 armor in the desert from the collectors, and can use those for the desired helm(s).

I decided: Im going for the Knights armor. I don't think that extra energy will help, its only +5+ or so... |

Go there for more specifics. Don't worry about buying 15k armor. You will never accumulate enough money to buy it just playing the game through normally, you need to spend a lot of time fighting monsters (farming) or get extremely lucky with your drops to be able to get it early. And as was mentioned, it isn't any better than Draknor's armor.
The damage reduction bonus on knight/ascalon armor is not cumulative. The reduction bonus from wearing the torso, boots, and gloves all at once is the same as just wearing the boots. Hence, it is generally considered poor practice to buy more than one piece of knights/ascalon armor (unless, I suppose you were going purely for appearance).
