1 on 1 arena

Hey this is this first time I post anything, so don't be angry if it sounds a little newbish. But I have been thinking there is alot of "I think I am better than everybody else" players on the GW servers .
I think that GW really needs a 1on1 arena so I can crack those arogant fools skull open. Not a random CA like them there already are, but one where you can callange your friends and/or enemys.
Any who agree ?

lol,this cant be done,u choose a warrior,if ur enemy is a caster,just charge at him and u will win for sure...

1on1 has nothing to do with skill.

If you are a standard kd/as warrior and up against an anti-warrior mesmer, you have no chance to win.

If you are an anti-warrior mesmer and up against an elementalist you have no chance to win.

If you are a healing monk, you have no chance to kill anybody - you have to keep yourself alive long enough that the enemy gets bored and leaves.

Maybe if there was a same profession 1 v1 it could work. Like War vs War, Monk vs Monk ( that would be slightly dull....) etc.

Could be a nice way to sort out differences of opinion too - trial by combat and all.

i would like to ad that you should be able to stake money on the outcome...

With money being involved, match fixing comes into it...

It would be good to have a gladitorial arena for these fights, where multiple players can spectate a fight. Infact, an arena where you could watch a 8 v 8 would be fantastic too. The first GW webcast perhaps?

I will be happy to slow u down and degen u with a mesmer.
Or speed myself with windborne and put some high damage spells on u.
Or play a ranger and blind u, trap u, cripple u.
Or a monk where i would smite u while keeping myself alive.
Or a necro that feasts on your blood.
