Magnetic Aura

It says in the spell description that "For xxx seconds, Magnetic Aura has 75% chance to block melee attacks".

Now, does that mean that it doesn't trigger the knockdown from skills like Irresistible Blow? It says that Irresistible Blow knocks down target if the target blocks the attack. But technically, the target (me) won't be blocking the attack, Magnetic Aura will.

So would this make Magnetic Aura a viable attack blocker, if it indeed doesn't trigger knockdown attacks like Irresistible Blow?

Does anyone know if this is the case?

It is still you that is "blocking" the attack. Sorry.

Alot of the blocking/evading skills wioll say "[This Skill] blocks/evades whatever".

i do believe it is a useful blocker but no i do not think it has the knock down ability since you will be blocking. irresistable blow- you attack and the opponent is blocking. that is y they get knocked down.
