Weapons Colors Question
mrivera
It didn't take me long to figure out that items in GOLD text are the rarest (I guess that is what the GOLD text means), am I right on that? So, what do all the other colors mean? I've seen Blue text and at least one other.

white = common
blue = common, but has some kind of added bonus and/or upgrade
purple = uncommon with a chance of better bonuses/upgrades
gold = rare with a chance of perfect bonuses/upgrades
green = unique, dropped by bosses in Sorrow's Furnace and Grenth's Footprint

White= Uncommon and can be found everywhere
Blue= With one mod and decent damages
Purple= Two mod sometime perfect mods, and max damamge
Gold= Max Damage, Great or decent damage mod, and two near perfect mods.

Golds are not max damage, they can be but are not always max.
As for greens last I checked they were slightly inferior to a gold due to customization, but perhaps I missed a change in that.

Green easy to get, just go to Sorrow Furnace and farm till you get something you want.
Rare gold weapons with those 15% above 50% and +30 health or 10/10 AP or 10/10 Furious is hard to find.

So, I have a question that I haven't been able to find the answer to. If I take a generic weapon(white) that drop, but has good damage and low req then I decide to apply some mods to it then will it become blue, purple or gold depending on the mods that I add to it?

Upgrades are always blue, so the weapon will turn blue.
