Now I know that many of us have been playing Guild Wars for a long time. Anybody ever notice that when you enter towns and outposts that the texture quality of PLAYER CHARACTERS' armour is low. Whereas the texture quality of NPCs' armour matches my GFX card capabilities. When you leave a town/outpost the graphics of partied members' armour is also detailed.
My Question:
I there any way to change any settings (including tweaking the program's files) to get the texture quality to be the same in both towns/outposts and in questing locations?
Texture Quality or Armor

I don't think so, but I could be wrong. The way I've heard it, the reason the detail is lower in towns is to save resources so everything can keep running smoothly on the servers.

Hm... wouldn't the texture artwork be stored on the HD? So, the only information sent over the internet is which armor set that each individual is wearing (ie. the artwork for the armor doesn't reload every time one goes to a town or outpost). Therefore, it's determined by the capabilities of one's PC (how fast the texture detail loads, that is), right???

I'm not ENTIRELY sure how everything works, but I would assume that, that is the theory behind it.
