Scars a must for N/Me UW Farming with Monk?

Well I personally dislike the looks of all ascetic armour but Im worried that they might be the only choice to cope with energy using Echo/SS/SV etc. (you the whole shebang) in UW, duo farming with 55 monk. Im in love with tormentors

So are tattoos necessary/highly recommended for UW N/Me duo farming?

i have 15k necrotic on my echo ss/sv and i never have probs with energy

there is am attribute to compensate for energy lose its called soul reaping

I ahve found that, for me, tattoos are crucial. We (necros) seem to ahve our own special flair; ie AtB, SV, ECHO, SS, SS, SUFFERING or whatever combo we use. For me and the combo I use, the small amount of extra energy combined wiht my primary/off hand or staff made the difference. I was able to get my casting to the second wiht recharge and such with the dorks tattoo set.

Others may not find this to be thew case for their setup, as we all play different styles. And in saying this, I dunno if my experience wiht this will help you figure your issue. I would think that getting your combo and weapon setup down will dictate wether you need the tattoo energy or not.

For the fassion-minded, go with whatever armor provides you the most eye-candy.

For the power-gamer, go with scars.

For the rich power-gamer, go with 15k/8k Marhan's Grotto or Fissure scars.
