I actually found it went down in seconds as long as you made sure you don't equip healing as it tends to use it well. Had no problem =)

think it all depends on ur profession, im a necro and found it really difficult to beat my shadow .. however, i soon learned that the best way is to use smiting spirit on it and let it kill itself .. very simple, assuming ur a necro with SS
