My patience is over (I think), I'm done getting lost in the desert with fellas that doesn't have a clue (like me ) and getting ambushed by Hydras.
Now, where is the freaking towns?
A map or something would be good.
And I searched the forums (was pretty surprised when I didn't find any).
Elona Reach & Thirsty River -_-

Maybe you didn't search hard enough?

Yes. A map would be very good. The first time out to Elona I tried to be a purist and not use one of the online maps. What a mistake. I walked right by the place! No green arrows. No green "asterisks". Nothing to indicate there was a city nearby, so I ended up wondering around the salt flats, or whatever it's called, for a hour or so until I got crushed.
Did I walk by a sign? In other parts of the world there are signs pointing the way, but I didn't see one for Elona.
I don't find getting lost a particularly invigorating experience unless I'm just wandering around, anyway, so a pointer or something would be a nice improvement in this part of the game. Please.
This isn't like the missions, so much, because it's sooo easy to wander off in whatever direction and territory you want from Augury. With the missions you can pretty much stick to a path and never get lost.
