Guild Hall Descriptions
[RDH]Slider
Sorry if this topic is not appropriate for this Forum, but I ask anyway! My Guild and I are on the cusp of getting a Guild Hall but we were unsure about what each type of Hall entails. Is it a different setup, are there different bonuses/pros or cons to each? Any information or references would be great, thanks!

Easy.
Go to Lion's Arch and talk to the captain of the boat in the harbor. He'd be more than happy to let you tour each of the Halls for yourself. Try them all out and decide which on you like best.
Besides, you've gotta do that anyways to get the Hall in the first place.

Ah..ok, maybe I should have done more research before asking. So he will explain what the differences between each are? That is an easy fix, thanks for responding.

Take a bunch of guildies and goes run around in each of the Halls while discussing all the different strategies. Watch out though, I'm pretty sure it's irreversable once you've picked your hall.

So really the Name of the Hall is more about the layout and less about any sort of in-game or in-match bonus. I was just wondering if the fancy names were some sort of extra incentive to chose the island. For example, Isle of the Dead to me sounds like some sort of Necro friendly location with a possible Necro skill boost during a GvG match. From what you are saying Soul Monarch the name is more cosmetic than anything else.

Well, Isle of the Dead is cool because it is set up a little like a tomb. Hallways and doors make for good choke points. However, you are correct that it doesn't have any other benefits other than that.
Pretty much your only consideration is the layout of the area, and how you can best strategize a fight there.
I love that one. It's one of my favorites. And Frozen Isle has frozen rivers that will slow players if the stand on it for very long.
Most all of them have something unique and interesting about them.

Wizards is the most popular. It's built like a classic castle and easily defended. Plus the little town it comes with is fun to hangout at. (I wish they let you go in them)
