Where do I find scales?

Wher in heaven name do you get scale???

in pre from the skale critters outside of ascelon and around ashford village....skale fins break down into scale... you can get them in post, I just have not been that far in post to tell you where...

i have found them in the defend the wall mission area from gargoyls

Gargoyles will - albeit rarely - drop scales.

The best way is pre-searing, fighting the river skales, and salvaging scales from the skale fins, like catspaw said.

I'd go so far as to suggest doing it, building up a nice little horde of them too... when you get to post-searing you can sell them for a pretty good amount of cash.
