I Just Had To Laugh My Ass Off

dont you just hate noobs that think they know it all and know nothing!

I joined a Pug group farming SF last night and straight away the leader started mouthing off 1 word commands of what build and skills I should take like I didnt know any better. I should have realized it at the time because he was asking for a noob build that anyone who has played the game for months could see, but I did oblige to some changes just to keep the peace.

Just out of the camp and the first group we run into someone agros both mobs and we get killed (the monk was afk) anyway the suicidal necro apologizes and we go again... I use Glads def etc etc and next thing I know the leader shouts omfg you use Cleave and you have a sword..I saw you... let me see you use your elite skill......(hehe ilmao)....anyway it must have been his first time out in SF if didnt know the dwarfs use cleave!.... anyway I used glads def again to show my elite and he began being abusive (maybe because he just made an a$$ of himself in front of the whole group) and ran back in to the camp where I left immediately... so I found another group and within 10 mins found razorstone and brimstone staff which I found quite satisfying.

I never call anyone a noob but I have to say with some satisfaction this guy definitely was a NOOB! hehe I just have to laugh at these folk who know nothing but think they do.

My opinion of a noob isnt someone whos learning to play the game, thats just someone who needs help....a noob is someone who doesnt know how to play the game but has convinced himself he can and no one else is capable because he doesnt know any better and doesnt have the common sense to realize this.

Yep, newbie = inexperienced person
n00b = inexperienced or slow learning person who thinks he/she is not

Although a lot of people use noob for newbie as well (I do sometimes).

Newbie = new to the game and still learning (Like myself)


N00b = Most of the dumbasses you read about in the biggest jerk ever, thread.

It just amazes me sometimes how arrogant some noobs are....

A while ago I was partying in SF when I told the party "btw just a tip, dont open a chest if the first is purple cos then they all will be, only use a key if the first is gold" I then got flamed by almost the whole group telling me they couldnt believe I got so far in the game and they cant beleive they were discussing this etc etc and the drops were totaly random.....one guy was outright rude telling me how sad I was... hehe I wonder how many keys they ended up wasting before they figured it out..... anyway their loss so I was happy knowing that

hehe the guy was running around mouthing off thinking he was flaming a noob for being stupid and all he did was prove that he was because he didnt listen..... people should just listen once in a while... they might learn something. Most of the things Ive learned are from folks ingame and in the forums cos everyone picks up something different that you might miss.
