Has anyone else noticed this about smite crawlers? If you aggro them and run away, they'll stop chasing (eventually), but then if you go back anywhere even remotely near them, they'll re-aggro and chase you again. I've had them re-aggro from beyond compass range.
You have to wait for like 10 minutes for them to fully "reset." This is really annoying when you just want to res your friend and try again, but you have to spend 10 minutes doing /dance first. >_<

They have your scent. My experience was about 1-2 min (a couple approaches then fall back). Have not experienced anything like 10 minutes. I think if you shower before playing it helps your chances ....

Pretty easy - run N/Mo so you can rebirth your friend to a safer area ;-)
Also, when you run away the first time...STAY PUT...until your dead friends indicates they've moved on.
problem solved, crisis averted.
