What does this meen, does this meen the number that your bid will automatically go up to? Or is this your bid you wish to enter?

Thanks.
Ash.

I assume it works like ebay.

If i put my maximum bid to 5,000g but the minimum bid only needs to be 2,000g then my bid would be 2,000g.

But then if someone else bids 3,000g my max bid would then put mine up to 3,225(or the next increment(sp?)) till it reached 5,000g.

Basically the system will bid for me up to 5,000g if someone else starts bidding.

It saves you having to watch the auction all the time.

In other words: You'll pay your maximum bid anyway, even when someone else doesn't bid at all.

No, you pay the minimum bid that will win the item, constrained by your maximum bid.

e.g.

Item is at 1000 to open. You bid 15000 as your max bid.
Now shows 1000, with 1 bid, you winning.
Player A bids 2500
Now shows 2600, with 2 bids, you winning.
Player A is frustrated, bids 10000
Now shows 10500, with 2 bids, you winning.
Player B comes along and tries 11000
Now shows 11500, with bids, you winning.

Someone bets 15001, getting a lucky guess?
Now show 15001, them winning.

Player D bids 25000 after that??
Shows 15501, but is still Player D's until someone out bids him, as it will increment his bid to beat other bids.
