Please o please hear me gods of Guild wars (devs) I want to jump .. oh and the pathing is way to restrictive.....

Then play WoW. lol I'm only kidding. But I do think that they decided to leave those elements out for good reason; focus. This game is a non-apologetic, PVP focused and PVE enhanced rocking FFA. I think leaving out some of those elements only made sense, plus if you had a whole lotta people jumping around in PVP that would make for some retardedly difficult targeting at times. Sides if you wanna jump try the /jump command in your chat window.

The search function is a mighty powerful tool.
