preorder item questions

By fickle fate, i have inherited a Guild War preorder package from Best Buy, and I already have the EB games one. Am i going to be able to get the both the Targe, and the Ithas Bow in my game when it comes out, or just one or the other? It is my understanding that these weapons are no big deal either way, odds are im going Air Elementalist/Mesmer anyhow but im just curious? Also the deluxeo version of Guild war comes with "Devine Aura" Whats that do? I imagine its for the Monk, but once again will i be able to use the other items with it?

To my knowledge, you can get both items, but for different accounts by which you preordered them. The preorder key is what allows you to get the preorder item, therefore the preoder item goes to the account that you made with it. So, yes you will have both items, but only if you get both copies of the game. As for the deluxe edition, Arenanet hasn't made too many anouncements about that edition of the game.

you cant have both items on the same account, because they arnt tradable (my understanding)

What about the bow? That's what I got and I'm a ranger.

When you get the actual game CD.... you must enter a unique package id code.
It is highly probable you will need the CD in your drive to play the actual game, being that some of the related files would most likely be on the CD for more ease of online play. That means you can only have one copy of the game per computer.... and each online account you have is tied to a seperate email address. As a result, you may want to decide what copy from your preoder bonus find you would want installed for which bonus item you would rather have.
That is usually how most up to date games run.... unique code...one CD... one computer.

Whatever else you do... DO NOT LOOSE THAT CODE. I've got half a dozen disks sitting on my shelf because I lost the activation code and can't do anything with 'em anymore, even sell them.

Huh well it was talking about how the delux order aura thing on that thingy and it said it gives one to Each character. does that mean each cahracter u make or just the only characters u have or what.

Kiwi, what are being said about the items are all speculations. We have no idea at all what those items do or what their specs are. Guess that's going to be another nice surprise on release day.

Yeah... check out www.guildwars.com and see what they say about the "Divine Aura". It says that each character on your account will get a seperate one... from different gods. I'd assume by the character you end up choosing provides the godly aura that you receive. Just my take on things...

perhaps it will be profession based? each profession has skills named after particular gods..

If you pre-order the collector's edition, will you recieve the specialized weapon AND the Divine Aura?

So, if I went and pre-ordered the collector's edition from EB Games, would I get the bow and Divine Aura?

I've been crawling around the guildwars.com site looking for my answer, but I havent' found it yet.

1 There are no professions in beta... is this changing in final release?
2 I am looking for a place where it says specifically that EACH of your characters gets an aura... from the way it sounds, only one gets it...
3 You dont need a cd to play MMO's or CO's or whtever they call it... if its massive, online, and multiplayer you get your key with your game, set up an account with your specific key, and log into THEIR server with your account, assuring that only people who have purchased the game can play, and also allowing for ease of play (in fact, you can download teh game from gulidwars.com right now, you just can't play unless you have pre-ordered and a BWE is online, which the next is on the 18th)

anyone know whether or not ALL of our chars get their own aura?or at least AN aura? this is the deciding factor for my buying special edition... i dont wnt my alt to be sad and aura-less...

EDIT: It says "each of your characters will recieve an aura".... Does this hold true for pre-order epic items or whatever it is?
