I have just ascended, and now i'm in Droknars... do i have to run from beakons perch if i wanna get to ice caves of sorrow?

There is a quest from Vanyi near the storage area in Droknar’s called Seeking the Seer I think. It will lead you to Ice Caves.

No you do not

Take the western entrance out of Droknar's Forge, then keep walking as east as possible.

I think a quest also leads to Ice Caves, but I do not know the name of that one.

there is nothing plot-essential between droknar's and beacon's. Ice caves is northeast of Droknar's. Just go out to Talus Chute and hang a right, the quest "seeking the seer" will guide you to ice caves. Can be run if you have some running skills or done easily with hench.

you may want to travel towards beacon perch to get Camp Rankor from there you can get to the War Camp.
