I find it funny that people so quickly call making that axe a blatant exploitation of a bug. Considering the Axe comes with two grips on it, it would be common sense to think you could change both grips, seeing as you can mod both collector's items and quest reward items. If A.net did not want an item such as this in game they should have had the intelligence to not put the item in in the first place. What did they think would happen when they put an easy to acquire item with two available grip slots on it? It still should be removed, but it was not an exploit of a "bug" seeing as that is how this particular item works and it is how they put it into the game. It was no bug that made the item, it was the fact that the item had TWO grip slots. I wonder how they got there? GL fixing this a.net.

i think they have a programing tool that was (and is) used to make hundreds (thousands?) of varients of each item without each one being individually double checked .

that allowed this (and the hammer, staff, etc) to slip through.

simple bug

exactly. if they really going to delet this axe they will have to remove the Hod Sword and other nerfed items completly from the game as well.

Um...no.

2 grips = bug, glitch, UNintended.

+5 energy = intended feature that was later deemed to be a bit overpowered.

in my mind it techniqually didnt really have 2 grips, it had a grip and a dmg mod that was replaced instead of the actual grip. replaces the actual grip afterwards is a glitch
