Game modes question (quest or PvP)

Are you able to switch your desired game modes that you're asked to pick at the beginning of the game down the road or are you basically stuck in that mode and have to delete and recreate your character under the other mode?

RP characters can PvP, but PvP characters cannot access the RP content. Basically, the RP content is based around building your character up and exploring the world- the PvP areas are a part of that world, and as you progress through the game, you'll be able to unlock the different PvP areas with your RP character. PvP characters are basically just a shortcut to save you the time leveling a character and finding them all the skills and equipment that they need- if you've found the skill or item with a character, you can create a PvP character that uses it, without having to create a new character and level them up in order to play PvP.

Also, for each account you can create (IIRC), 4 characters...so you can create 3 RPG characters and 1 PVP one.
