Anyone know what the heck these things are? They're by the Statue of Lyssa, before you hit the Ice Beast and the Seer. They give off a pretty unique sound effect, do their glow-pulsing.. do these figure into a quest? Are they just mysterious trash?

(as a side-note: anyone who's looking to cap skills in Mineral Springs should just take all-henchmen party if your buddies or guildmates aren't on. so easy, so reliable, and no worry the three monks on your team don't heal)

yeah I saw that and I was wondering about those. Also I wonder about those mmm pedestals with runes on them, you see them all over in certain places

actually, i was there earlier today with some friends, and we decided they're the same type of fire beacons you light in one of the earlier mountain quests. I think it was frost gate. but we could be wrong. Not the regular ones, but the giant one you lit with the enchanted torch.

Personally, I think some expansion is going to open up a zone from that spot- like UW or FoW- and that the IDS dropping from there is just Anets way of making people aware of the place. I look forward to hiking 20 minute to farm "ecto: the sequel."

It looked much like a respawn point, doubt it and didnt really think to find out either. Very odd, maybe just a REALLY lame "easter egg" type thing if you get me.

Also, i dont like taking henchmen to MS because my necro always ends up getting 60dp'ed before i pass the second group of Avicara. Its so annoying just to get spiked for so much and flourish recharges savage slash, oooh i hate them so much. (Terrain abuse ftw)

Sorry once I got back home I just had to grab as much time with Wintersday as much I could.

Anyway the 'weird' structure mentioned above is here.

Also I've been noticing those things in certain places. I believe this one was in Magumma Jungle. I've seen same ones but with yellow/red colored markings (fiery?) in Diessa Lowlands...

I wonder what those are... what do they mean?
