Quick question about monks

I just want to know if the wording on some spells mean exactly that like Healing Touch since it says "Other ally" im going to assume that i cant "touch" myself to heal my char? if thats the case it only leaves a small portion of the healing spells that i could actually use on myself and some are frankly subpar heal areas.. anyways i just want a to confirm the "heal other ally" as being exactly that and unusable on myself.

"other ally" spells cannot be used on yourself. many heals work on yourself, however the stronger ones tend to be "other ally" for balance purposes..

yea i was worried about that givin the fact as a monk i'll probably be the primary target for the enemy, also i wanted to ask if i went for a monk/ranger and tried to hide behind a trap. how effective are traps to immobilize an enemy or 2? If you might have any solid 2ndary ideas purely for defense i'd be glad to hear em .

hehe... no... in Guild Wars, touching yourself doesn't make you healthier.

So there isn't going to be any "Sexual healing?"

If your own healing isn't enough defense for you, then the other monk on your team is your best friend. Keep each other alive.
