Will the expansion provide more charater slots?
rugal nuker
Anyone knows whether Anet will provide us more charater slots for the new classes? As my slots are now full,i don wish to delete one of them for the new classes in chapter 2...i would like to know how much more too.
Thanks,
Thanks,

I think I read somewhere it would, but am not sure.
I'll keep the answer at 'yes' for 80%

As Mak - no definitive answer but '2' is being knocked about
Probably won't be more than '4', would be nice if it was...
I've seen the game as low as $30 if you're dying for more slots
[another account, send a character post sear to mule for current, etc]
Of course if you're like me that helps the inventory but doesn't leverage your PvP unlocks - 3 characters hitting all the unlocks and running a monk with my wife means I don't play PvP anymore until expansion unless I take my PvEs in with their equipment. As flexible as I've made them this is a limitation.

If I do resort to buying a second copy of this game, I'm sure I cannot transfer all stuff I've unlocked to that second copy, correct?
I sure do hope Chapter 2 brings us more slots but I'm leaving fourth character undeveloped so in case if Chapter 2 do not give us more slots, my fourth character will be deleted so I can try out one of those new classes *drool*

Chapter 2 will defineately defineately defineately add more character slots for us. I have a considerable amount of money (+ my house and children) bet on TWO, unless they add a PvP-only slot, making a total of 3 additional slots.

There is no definative yay or nay from ANet just yet, however more character slots is definately assumed to be coming.

2 Has already been stated. To paraphrase Gaile's comments:
"The Assassin has been confirmed" One.
"You will have new profession<S>, Take that as you will" at least 2.
Possibly, I can see 3-4. 3 Professions, and another slot for PVP would be nice...but at the time, I'm leaning towards 3.
Just my input.

In my opinion Anet should have had 7 character slots from the start. But with new characters coming out, if they dont add at least 2-3 more slots I'll just buy another account with in game currency.

if chapter 2 is standalone it will have at least 4 professions and 3 more slots.

Well...it seems limiting slots to 4 has made them more dough in game sales...would you not buy it if they didn't add any?

I think MANY of us would have PAID for extra slots on our account, rather than buying a second copy and having to unlock everything all over again.

/Agree here. Pay-for-slots might have been a better route, and ANet would have made off on it too.
