PvP bragging rights

I am a PvE player & I would like to see an option in the game to mute the PvP messages that flash up on my screen when I play. It is unecessary chat clutter. I dont care about what is going on in PvP. I dont care if So & So holds the Hall of Heros for <insert country name here>. I dont care. I just don't care. Mebbe some ppl do care tho & this is why I have suggested it be a option.

I like it, simply because when I'm playing PvE, it makes me feel as though I am definitely "still plugged in." Also, is it really a huge problem? A couple lines in the lower corner of the screen can't hurt you (unless you sit there staring at it while Charr slaughter you). It is so non-intrusive, and making an option, IMO, would be a waste of time where they could make other options that would definitly add more to the game...

I agree 1000%. Will it kill me to see it? No, but it sure is really annoying. I play the game for the quests, the missions, and to become absorbed by the lore and narrative of the story. Obviously the way players tend to act while in the cities is a big time immersion breaker, but once I go on a quest I can lock back into the fantasy. Seeing the real world country/continent info splash on the screen is probably worse(IMO) then seeing some fool breakdancing in town. So yes, please make seeing the jingoistic pronouncements optional.

Good lord, people will find anything to complain about. This is not only not needed, it would serve to do nothing. So what if your more informed about the in-game world around you.
I am manly a PvE player, and the reason I think that it sould stay is because it does afect us. If you plan to be able to get to the Underworld or the Fissore (sp?), you need to know what country holds the hall.
I would much rather the devs focus on gameplay, not something that *most* people dont care about.
