Screen Problem
Naz
hey for some reason when i play in fullscreen mode theres this line going accross my screen and it flickers and like it makes the front overlay invisible, is there any way to fix that because i cant play in fullscreen mode??

worthless
what hardware do you have?
running dx9?

Joysze
Do you have anything else running and using up processor when you're running it on full screen?
Mine did this line across the middle and the bottom half of the screen shimmered like crazy. Found out it was cos I have Konfabulator running. Once that was off, everything was ok.

Is it just GW or other games as well, if it's happening on all I would guess that there is something else in the background. I know I get it when I get my Windowblinds notice comes up.

I am using a NVidia GeForce FX video card and am having trouble seeing some terrain features.
There is a known issue with NVidia GeForce FX video cards (GPUs) and driver version 61.77 when the user has changed "Image Settings" to "High performance". Some of the problems include missing terrain. The solution is to change your video settings to "High quality". To do this, follow these instructions: On Windows XP:
Open Display Properties control panel.
Click Settings tab
Click Advanced button
Click GeForce "Version" tab
Select Performance and Quality Settings in left window
In the Global Driver Settings window select Image Settings
Move the slider to the right to "High quality"
The video cards/GPUs that are affected by this problem are:
GeForce FX 5200
GeForce FX 5200 Ultra
plus a long list more
