minions, allies, party members, and pets

just out of curiosity....do pets count as minions? like do spell that dont specify *undead* minions affect a pet? (for necro/ranger) same goes for skills that affect "allies." pets are listed under the allies section, so do they count as allies also? and what about party skills? are pets in your party?

short story: i just want to knoe what kinda of skills would affect my pet? what is the descripincy between minions, allies, and part members? and which catergories do pets fall under?

My necro uses a pet and no they dont count as minions. However, spirits will affect both the pets and minions. I believe both count as aliies.

Here's what I'm aware of and should serve as a guide to similar spells:

Heal Area affects everything, ally or enemy, that is close enough.

Heal Party does not heal pets, NPCs or minions.

Minion spells only heal minions (ie, Blood of the Master).

Pet spells only heal pets.
