Energy gain on hit outweighs the energy regen -1, provided you hit at least once every 3 seconds... something no ranger should have a problem with.

I keep forgetting not only primary spellcasters get +1 to energy regen on armour. I had an image of a ranger constantly losing energy in my head. I retract my above statement.

I have mesmer stuff balance the negs on it.

All i know is, I used favorable winds and called shot, and dealt 95 damage to a charr ash walker in one hit. it took 2 to make him go byebye. I am happy. What once took several respawns now takes 10 mins

33% increase in innate damage. Now stack on the ranger rituals and skills, and you have a trail of death in these piney woods

Nice bow, though personally I think the energy lossage would hurt my build too much ;D

Mine's better I recently put a Bow Grip of Fortitude on it, to replace the armor boost with +21 health.

I picked up a nice one last night

13-24 dmg
+12% dmg
+10% armour piercing (9% chance)
+ 6 elemental armour

and customized too it works pretty damn nicely with the preps on my ranger

Where did you find the bow? I have to get me one of those. And also where did you find the other 2 bags? Been looking everywhere for them.

I don't like the whole idea of not gaining energy as fast, though if you hit you gain energy but still.. i found this yesterday. With some enhancements it's a great bow, too.

I agree with Leventh. I see no reason why that is a good bow. The +13 % damage increase is fine, but it doesn't make up for the -5 energy. Besides, the damage isn't great either...
