Eggnog - makes you drunk

Spiked Eggnog - makes you VERY drunk

Gift - Holds any of the other items (including Candy Cane shards).

Candy Cane - Can only be used in battle area. It removes DP!!!!!! Awesome

Snowman Summoner - This one is funny...it drops a snowman from out of nowhere and it falls in various ways. I like when it goes splat XD

What are you farming to get so many candy canes so quick? I was farming for orr emblems , 3 = 1 candy cane, got about 100 of those in an hour.. is there a faster way??

can you use these things in gvg and tombs? getting rid of dp liek that would be completely unbalanced

The grawls outside of ruins of sumeria would probably be fastest. Low level and only requires 2.

I used a Candy Cane while farming and i had my normal 42 from Baltha's Aura(Undeads) my cyc axe and and 7 dmg from what i guess its the Candy Cane beacuse i didnt used sumthing else'........

Is there a difference between the merchants?
Does one merchant give better gifts than the other as far as what you get in the winter gift?

Oh and the Cane takes all your dp away so you might want to just invest in that one for use later on :-).

The place I farm is north Of Nolani. Tons of huge gargoyle mobs, and you only need one skull for the items at Ascalon. Get prob 15 skulls a run. They drop like crazy.

If you can manage to solo it, the tengu on the path between LA and ascalon settlement drop a load of scalps (tradeable for items), a fair amount of candy cane shards, and a bunch of salvage and stuff. If you haven't completed the quest that requires you to bring devona, cynn and mhenlo to ascalon settlement, they will come along with you without taking a share of the loot.

And best of all, there are tons of tengu there. I do it with a necro with lvl 18 minions, I just aggro some 15-20 tengu at a time and let the minions clean everything up. Very fast and the drops are pretty decent.

It seems to me that Eugaet was asking about the winter gifts that come from the collectors, but Mal and Funk responded about gifts coming from winning or losing in the snowball arena. As there are different collectors representing each deity and offering some variety in items, can we get an answer to the actual question? Is there a difference in the collector winter gifts dependent on which deity's servant the gift comes from?
