I think it will be like King Thorn, several times a day on New Year's Eve. That way, there's a good chance of popping in LA inbetween champagne

Snowball arena is utterly awesome, especially the sound effects

By the way, what is mesmer's unique skill? These that I saw were:

Ranger - Ice flurry, like Barrage only with snowballs.
Elementalist - Icicle, crippling stuff.
Warrior - Let's get em, you move faster and gain adrenaline if it affected allies.
Monk - Ice breaker, health regen and every foe attacking is knocked down.
Necro - Wintersday blues, a kind of a well. I don't know what it does.
Mesmer - ?

Dwayna - Avalanche. Cripple.
Grenth - Yellow snow, disease.

Except for the quests, it's about even. But the new quests makes Wintersday the better update.

These were two good quests! Long enough to give you an evening of entertainment, and pretty funny. Even if you didn't read all the things the NPCs said (which were pretty funny for the most part), who out there can honestly say they didn't laugh when they first saw Freezie?

Especially since they are easy to get, I got mine from the garg, behind Nolani Academy and the Sanitarium, plus the colector only want 1 garg skull, I got enough dp candy canes to last me a while.

The resasen they did Wintersday instead of Christmas day is because many people have diffrent cultures. Christmas is a christian beleif. If they called it Christmas all the people besides christians will be pissed.

halloween was far better, xmas items are total crap, candy weapons are total crap, the 5 minute quests were ok to relieve the boredom but still halloween had a much better party atmosphere and didnt inspire greed as much as wintersday which will be only remembered because of the IDS greed.

Wintersday for me because I missed out on most of the halloween stuff.

So I've been having fun doing missions, farming for shards and collecting candy canes.

Cuz I still Have yet to see anything really cool , besides the snowball fighting that shit rocks!!!
