"Wintersday" vs Halloween

Well I'll be around for new years. Perfect timing for me to get the rest of the quests and a few items. I was thinking all this ended on the 26th or something...

I hate christmas, so I'd have to go with holloween. The quest are kinda boring... I am glad to see new quest though.

I think that it is great that they added new quests for a holiday.

i'd be happy if there were no more events, greedy selfish people are only using them to make imaginary money which mean nothing in reality and it spoils the whole spirit of it and turns these events into one big 'be the first to get items and make it rich' farce

so far I am for winter's day. The lore talks about the follwers of Dwayna and Greneth fighting it out. I'm thinking a big pvp dustup with the winning team getting a hat or something, I want a red santa hat. Dwayna FTW!!!!

I wasn't around for the halloween event but seen some stuff about it and it looked great craic. However considering that wintersday will result in a battle of some sort between Grenth and Dwayna and the results will be either snow and beautiful winters scenes for a few extra months more of the normal boring "niceness"....em where was I? Oh yes, I like Wintersday.

I personally liked halloweens event when it came to graphics and such of the three cities and such. But wintersday is better for quests and more items and keeps ya busy since nothing better to do.

As long as there is something like the Mad King for Wintersday, Wintersday all the way.

if Grenth gives me good presents i will say Wintersday. I dont really like either of the holidays seeing as how people waste money on useless things like candy axes and stuff that cannot help you. I just go on and do what i usually do.

Wintersday...gotta love the snowball fight...i think u get a present everytime u participate...correct me if im wrong...and i love my new gingerbread shield lol...

What money? You kill a few monsters, get 4 Candy Cane Shards from them, and make a Candy Cane Axe. They look damn good with the Peppermint Shield!

I just wish ppl would stop selling the Candy Cane Shards for like 2k.
Or, not really.. Love stealing their customers by giving the Shards away for free.

I'm loving Snowball, that's all I can say It's a relief from Pvp just chucking snowballs the hell out of someone and not worried about this or that XD Although, there are still bigots who take the fun out of the game

Wait a minuite. I recall one of the npcs saying it's "8" days till wintersday.( and that was yesterday).Maybe Tyrias christmas is later on than ours?

Also, I think if Anet do release santa hats on christmas, it will be really bad, as I doubt people would choose to spend time on a game than with there relatives and friends. Yeah, Halloween was ok like that, but Christmas is more important.
