i've searched the forums to no avail

can someone explain how to beat the new quests?
currently, each part of each quest says "look for blah", and that it must be somewhere... that doesn't seem to narrow anything down...

please help and dedicate 2 minutes of your time if you have already finished these quests, and help tell me where am i supposed to go.

how do you get the new christmas quest?

in lion's arch, from a person close to the guild registrar. find him by the mark above his head.

but how do we complete these quests???

Talk to Old Nick in LA. He'll give you two quests. The Snowman is pretty easy. I ran 2 charactres through before I wen to wrok today. After you talk to nick, talk to joy, to scrappy. Get items. Coal is in Ascalon near the Scribe...name is Vanguard.....can't remember. Anyway, then you can to Droks and get the pipe you need, then back to LA and get hat from Magi..)same guy that gives you a sig of cap.) Then you Protect Nebo...I've found this was easy starting from Bettletun...fight a couple Merg's and Tengo and then at the Portal near Asc settelment/nebo scrappy is waitng for you he'll make a giant iceman and then you kill some nasty buggers...about 16 of them. Go back to LA and get reward. pretty easy just read your Quest log.

I haven't done the other yet so I don't have enough info. I know the termites can be found in Giants Basin on the beach. ...sorry I don't have more info on second quest. Had to go to wrok and didn't have time to get through it yet.

There are two known quests available, both from 'Old Nickoles' in Lion's Arch (central area). The quests are:

A Very Grentchie Wintersday, Reward: 5000 xp, Peppermint Shield (Armour:10), Gingerbread Focus (Energy+5)

The quest sequence is as follows:
Vehemus, Lion's Arch, south of Sergio

(Termites) Fisherman Finnius, North Kryta Province, jetty along beach near the Ascalon Settlement

(Gunk) Gunk Farmer Urme, Black Curtain, south-east of the ToA portal or near second bridge from Cursed Lands portal

(Garlic) Necromancer Skorzena, Watchtower Coast, head northwards from Beetletun portal

(Unwashed Socks) Nebo Terrace, exit from Bergen Hot Springs portal and speak to Villager Gessel, then follow (chase) Dreier Dane

Vehemus, Lion's Arch, south of Sergio

Vehemus, North Kryta Province, near portal to Lion's Arch

Ascalon Settlement, North Kryta Province

Vehemus, North Kryta Province, near portal to Lion's Arch for reward
The Greatest Snowman Ever Made, Reward: 5000 xp, Gingerbread Shield (Armour:10), Gingerbread Focus (Energy+5)

Scrappy Jhim, Lion's Arch, beside a sea jetty (look for where Pan and Jiaju Tai are)

(Coal x2) Vanguard Kyle, Ascalon City, beside Symon the Scribe

(Pipe) King Jalis, Droknar's Forge, platform past Consular Tronar Ironseer

(Magic Hat) Magi Malaquire, Lion's Arch, near the central Christmas tree area

Scrappy Jhim, Lion's Arch, beside a sea jetty (same place as before)

Scrappy Jhim, Nebo Terrace, just inside portal from North Kryta Province

Joy, Lion's Arch, near portal to North Kryta Province for reward
