As far as I know, Fraya is in SoW, Spooky is in ZoS, saus not really in any guild, Ensign isn't in alpha.

Guilds are made by players, you don't have to join.

It worked rather well.. and it's still together as far as I know. I know both Tarrant and Chantal are in SoW.. but I don't know if the GWO is permanent, or just a BWE thing.

Something like this could be interesting for next month's BWE .. we'll see how things go. It would have been nice this past weekend, but an unfortunate impossibility for me. We had quite a few new people playing with ZoS, so I wanted to be on hand to keep an eye on things. Alas.. how much simpler life would be if I only had two accounts. And a clone.
It's a good idea, though. The people in GWO's Guild seemed to be enjoying their time together, and to that end, I think it makes it easier for people to find others to group with - no matter what 'style' of gaming they're into, as everyone already has something in common.

How much does making a Guild cost?? I heard from a friend that it's around 1kk gold....but it's not too easy to get gold I believe...or there are quests that actually got a ncie reward :P

Its easy to get gold. You just need a signet basically, and thats around 1000. I believe.
I don't like the idea of this GWG guild for only nice people, for the new people who have come on these boards would not be allowed in.

It was definitely intended as a temporary thing just to set up friendships, contacts, and the original plan had a looming possibility of it disbanding after the BWEs. However, due to its popularity, it might remain.
So.. at least with GWO, it was open membership to new and old. Besides, the increase in guild cap helped a lot.. so I don't think it's really that necessary to divide a possible GWG in fractions. Also, of course, if it is a temporary thing, you can always use TANK's rotating roster idea should the 100 members limit be reached..

Well, if there's interest in making a GWGuru guild, I'd be willing to help out, though I am a member of Spirits of War, and don't plan on leaving them. I'd probably be around to help set things up, and maybe play some games with you guys, and then move back into SoW.
Even if there is no GWGuru guild, anyone here is free to add me to your friends list or get a hold of me in-game if you have any questions, or want to run a mission or something. My main character is Freya Njordsdatter, though I'll often play on different characters with the same naming scheme(Freyas Bane, Freyas Wrath, Deathly Freya, etc) based on what I'm playing at the time.

I think this a a great idea!
The Alpha Gurus could be the top Guild
All Guru members that want to join would be in
Beta - Gamma - Delta until they get promoted into Alpha
Or something along those lines

So that means all the people who have posted here from some time ( forget us lurkers ) or all the people with a certain post count, get in Alpha, while all the newer members get Beta and Charlie ( you forgot it ) and then noobs get Delta?

I have run a guild on battle net and it takes a lot of work and being present to help the members into games and settle arguments etc. I think I would enjoy just being able to play with people that understand the game better than I do. I came here just to read and I have learned a lot from Spooky's vast research of the game. So far I have played only with one or two people and then they are gone at end of the quest or as we returned to a town. I think it would be nice to have some of the members and guru writers in here to help me learn about this game. I like the idea of a GWG guild. Just a (_)o *Janee

off topic but charlie isnt in the greek alphabet, and if youre refering to the amry letters, then wouldnt it be bravo not beta, i think thats why charlie isnt in there
