There is no limit to the number of people who can simultaneously observe a game, but for purposes of chatting, observers are randomly assigned into groups of about 100 people. In Observer Mode, the Map Area window displays the positions of all characters on the map. You can click on any character to jump there. Alternately, you can use Auto Camera mode to let the game pick the most interesting targets for you. A new heads-up display automatically shows you the Health of teams that you are currently watching. If you prefer to use the Party window to view party status details and to select players to watch, you can easily switch the Party window back and forth between teams, or you may choose to view multiple Party windows and watch different teams in each window. |

Talk to Vehemus outside LA. 9. Travel to the Ascalon Settlement north of LA with the new Grentch, destroy all 7 wintersday gifts. 10. Return to Vehemus for your Reward. ~ Yes, you can do both quests on the same Character. As far as I know, to get Candy Cane Shards, you salvage christmas gifts you get from the christmas collectors, and drops from monsters such as Mergoyles and Fire imps. ~ Do NOT try do any of these quests if you have the "Defend North Kryta Province", just abandon it, do these 2, then go back to Glint in Droknar's Forge to re-start it. |

Candy Cane Shards drop in many places, if not all places. They are used to trade to the collector Candysmith Kris in Lion's Arch, near the Rune Trader for the above Candy Cane Weapons, Candysmith Noel near Vanguard Kyle in Ascalon, or Candysmith Sweetshanks near the Rare Scroll Trader in Droknar's Forge. The trade rate is 4 shards per weapon.

The Dwayna vs. Grenth Arena

How to reach:
Teleport to the Tomb of the Primeval Kings and speak to Wintersday Priest. You will be teleported to an undisclosed arena named Dwayna Vs Grenth.
This town is unique in that it contains two crafters who collect CC Shards:

The Fight
- Choose enter arena (You cannot party) and you will be transported to a unique arena. All your spells will be replaced with snow-specific skills
- Primary class attributes (Divine Favor, Strength, etc..) are set to level 0 upon entering the arena.
- On entering, you will be enchanted with "Yuletide," which sets your HP to 500, Energy to 40, and energy regeneration to +4.
- Skill slot 5 changes to accomodate the team you are on. Dwayna's team obtains "Avalanche," while Grenth's team obtains "Yellow Snow"
The skills:
General Skills:
- "Mmm, Snowcone!" - Shout. You are healed for 300 health, and all of your attacks are disabled for 10 seconds. Recast 60sec.
- Ice Fort - Enchantment Spell. For 10 seconds, you block all incoming projectiles. Ice fort ends if you move. Cast time 1sec. Recast 60sec.
- Hidden Rock - Glyph. Your next snowball knocks down target foe and causes Daze. Cast time 2sec. Recast 20sec.
- Snow Down the Shirt - Hex spell. For 20 seconds, whenever target touched foe takes any damage while suffering from this hex, the foe is interrupted. Cast time 3/4sec. Recast 30sec.
- Mega Snowball - Spell. You throw a very slow-moving snowball at target foe. That foe is knocked down and takes 75 damage if it hits. 4 adrenaline cost. Cast time 1sec.
- Snowball - Spell. You throw a slow-moving snowball at target foe. That foe takes 50 damage if it hits. Cast time 1sec.
Team-specific skills:

- Dwayna(Blue) - Avalanche - Spell. Target foe and all nearby foes are Crippled for 10 seconds. Cast time 1sec. Recast 30sec.
- Grenth(Red) - Yellow Snow - Glyph. Lose one condition. Your next snoball causes disease. Cast time 2sec. Recast 4sec.
Profession-specific skills:

- Elementalist - Icicles - Hex Spell. Target and adjacent foes are struck for 75 cold damage and move 66% slower for 5 seconds. Cast time 2sec. Recast 20sec.
- Monk - Ice Breaker - Enchantment Spell. For 10 seconds, target ally has +5 health regeneration and anyone striking target ally with an attack is knocked down. Cast time 1sec. Recast 45sec.
- Warrior - "Let's Get 'Em!" - Shout. For 5 seconds, all allies in the area move 10% faster. You gain 1 strike of adrenaline for each ally affected. Recast 30sec.
- Mesmer - Blinding Snow - Spell. You interrupt target foe's action. That foe is Blinded for 10 seconds. Cast time 1/4sec. Recast 10sec.
- Necromancer - Holiday Blues - Spell. Sacrifice 100% max health. All nearby foes take 50 damage, and you bring the Holiday Blues to this location. For 45 seconds, foes within the area of the Holiday Blues suffer -15 health degeneration. Cast time 1/4sec. Recast 20sec.
- Ranger - Flurry of Ice - Spell. Throw a snowball at up to 4 foes adjacent to your target. These snowballs deal 35 damage if they hit. Cast time 3/4sec.
Presents will randomly pop within the arena. Your objective is to pick a present up, then walk (slowly) to your team's avatar. Red Team is Grenth, Blue team is Dwayna. First team to retrieve 5 presents wins the match.
You do gain Faction for these arena matches
