Here's what I really think... I think those of you that didn't like this idea are the "sorry !%&" ones that are freaked out that you won't be able to make a "quick buck" on those that don't know any better if GW goes along with something like this idea.

Well, the
whole point of having customization is that you customize it to gain more power
in return for no one else being able to use the item. It's not supposed to be something that you can undo, and I sincerely hope it stays this way. Now I do agree that some people could use this to dupe others out of money, which is why I think the aforementioned pop-up box confirming the trade when a customized item was traded would be useful. But the point here is not to dupe others, but to be able to get an upgrade to your weapon
for a price. If you could simply "un-customize" a weapon there would be absolutely nothing special about customization, as everyone would do it with all their weapons. It just adds another layer to the item collection, and I personally think it's a good change, although you probably disagree with me...
