Ele Gear Holder

Since I'm lazy and don't feel like spending the time to find a group to actually let me try, and unfortunatly my guild probably couldn't form a proper 5 man SF run, I'm going to post this here and see if you think it would work.

Kinetic armor and Armor of the earth, gives you something like 200 or so more AR, allows earth eles to do griffen runs. Could the same build, or one similar work as a gear holder? Allowing 3 people do do dmg instead of just the Nuker/SS and MM, making runs go that much quicker.

And would the whirlwind/aftershock combo, breaking agro mater with a gear holder? Or would they all come running back to her?

Yes it does work, in fact earth ele book/keg/gear holders are better than warriors could ever dream of. Use kinetic armor, armor of earth, obsidian flesh, ward against melee, stone daggers (spammable to keep kinetic up), earthquake, aftershock, earth attunment. With this build you can in fact do a lot better than a warrior because you help with damage and at the same time recieving very little if any at all damage. You cannot forget to bring obsidian flesh or your enchantments will get stripped by the mesmers.
