could someone post a screenshot of which route is easier? i heard there was a "easier but slower" route...
Kassad's IDS Ranger/Mes Farmer
samurai snack
i must be doing something wrong...i have everything the same as Kassad except instead of antidote sig its hex eater signet(to remove iron mist if i fail to interupt it). heres the route i take and i always die at the ice imp cave...not by trolls either, its the fact that the terrain is un even and i cant get into range without them ice spearing the $h!t out of me:

Wolydarg
distracting shot the iron mists if the ele boss spawns in your path
Generally the path I take is on the bottom path on the southern half of the mineral springs, the run shouldn't give you trouble if you have dodge/storm/escape or whatever on your bar...

There is no need to interrupt iron mist.
As soon as you are hexed with it, use Mantra of Frost or Elemental Resistance; whichever one you have on your skill bar, and cast Troll Unguent and keep moving forward.
When Iron Mist is about to expire, get ready to use your running skill to escape the mob.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
As for the alternate route:
1. As soon as you enter Mineral Springs, take the right path instead of the left one. That is the alterate route to the Ice Caves.
Be warned that there are Giants near the end of the route that have knockdown skills.

Has ANet nerfed this run or is it just generally a pain in the butt? Far more often than not I run up there and there are Avicara guiles, wise, and ardents mixed in with a bunch of imps at the cave mouth. Is this everyone else's experience as well? Do y'all kill them (if so, how?) or just run back and rezone? It's a long way back to rezone and I have been unable to kill them as their casting of ineptitude and their other nasty mesmer stuff typically rocks my world even if I try to pull out just one or two.
Also, I almost always see multiple heretics blocking the way near the rez shrine in Tasca's Demise just before the swirly into Mineral Springs, so I always die there from crippling anguish and mucho degen and start into mineral springs with 15% DP. That's not that big of a deal and can be somewhat erased by killing Pinesouls and/or giants, but I was wondering if others see this same spawn so often.
And does anyone have any video of this or similar builds in action?
