This has been happening for a while and I think I finally figured out why. Ever try to join a group, but the when you do you get the message "The resulting group would be too large"? Of course, all groups have a max size. But what if I'm solo and I try to join a group of (3/6)(current/max). The icon above leader's head has a (3) and I know the max group size is (6). Then if I get this error message, Something is wrong right?

Ok so here's the scenario: I come into town with a group of 6/6 (5 henches). Someone advertises GLF (3/6) mission and I decide to join. I kick all but my (2) healers and click on the new group. The leader accepts, I join the new group and my henches are discarded. Resulting group is now (4/6). Next player (solo) wants to join the group, but can't!. They get the message "The resulting group would be too large!". Why? Turns out that my (2) henches were not really properly discarded! The game thinks the group size is (6/6)! I believe if the leader leave the group and rejoins, the counter is reset and the problems goes away.
If someone else could test this problem and confirm these findings that would be great! Then we can pass this on to ANET support.

If you find my description of the problem confusing, feel free to comment/correct. The important this is to identify and fix this problem because it effects everyday gameplay. I'm a software tester by trade.
