crystilline drop in FOW quest chest?

Well not to long ago i was in FOW with a group of people doing the tower of courage mission. After we finished, someone opened the chest for the reward and a purple max dmg crystilline sword came out of the chest. Needless to say I was pretty shocked by this because I only heard of crystillines dropping in HoH.

My question is this. Do these quest reward chests have the chance of coughing up eveything single item in the game? So to speak, is the chest programmed to drop items that usually drop in other regions of the game?

I got a Charr Hide out of a chest in Riverside Province once. So, yeah, I wouldn't be surprised by anything at all popping out of a chest anymore, be it a Salvage Item or a Crystaline Sword.

Last time in fow the same chest dropped a gold grawl armor so I'm guessing yes they can drop anything.

Right, I have to agree. I think that chests have random items that are the same level as the area the chest is in.

Phantom Chests Can Drop Evry Item Of The Game

Way back when there was that barrel outside of Divinity Coast, you could get ~5 crystallines a day. Not even close to max, but there are possibilities in chests for some really rare drops.

I have seen the chest after you do tower of courage drop a crystalline, storm bow, eternal bow, and a serpent axe, all were max damage req 8. (the serpent axe dropped for me)
