Hey there. I'm going to buy a RAM upgrade. My system specs are attached.
What I need to know is, will my computer support a RAm upgrade up to 512? and where can I buy these upgrades for cheap?

Thanks.

Ash.

Well you can check www.crucial.com I don't know about super cheap....but they do have sales from time to time. I trust their Ram. It is cheaper then getting it at Dell or other computer companies and it is the same quality. I like crucial because it has a decent system checker that will steer you to what you need. They also push their higher speed product...but you really do not need to spend twice the price for not that much of a speed boost.

I paid about $245.00 for a 2Gb kit from them. (2x1Gb sticks) It is under warranty as well....

EDIT: You can find Ram cheaper...but you get what you pay for....I do not trust Kingston or Corsair brands....they are what you get at Brick and Mortor stores like Best Buy. Sometimes that brand will work fine....still I have had that stuff end up giving me memory errors over time.
