No more need of an IDS-Icy Dragon Sword- group.

You can rise above the others and go big with this.
Items Needed:
1050 or more Gold Coins
Candy Canes(for first Tries and Bad Spawns)
Skills Needed:
Sprint
Healing Signet
Dolyak signet
Mantra of frost or Elemental Resistance
Watch yourself!
Shields Up!
Eviscerate or Hundred Blades
-X- (Disrupting is what I choose)
Attribute layout:
Strength: 10 (9+1)
Axe: 9 (8+1)
Tactics: 15 (12+3)
Since you don't have Monk in your blood you won't be needing enchantments.
For your Axe or Sword get a Defensive Upgrade either Armor +5 (always) or Armor +7 (Vs. Elemental) I prefer the Warding +7(Vs. elemental) because you'll be receiving a lot of Ice/Water elemental damage. I use Grognars Defender or Desert Crimson Carapace Sheild(Stance)and a Defense Hand Axe, +5 armor always.
:::Tasca's Demise:::
Starting in Granite Citadel, first exit the portal into Tasca's Demise, quickly run to the right, sticking close to the wall. At the corner(or you can take the long way and go left and wait for the Dwarves to spawn and then move behind them.) Now there are two things you can do here: Option 1: go look at the dwarf group coming from the East and then hide behind the Resurrection Shrine, once the dwarfs have stopped, you quickly sneak around the corner of the shrine, and do not anger them. Option 2: Run past the group of dwarves using sprint then break right, afterwards or keep going past the big group.
Once you're safely away from the first section there are two ways to take: the North path (leads to three Ice Siege Golems and a Gnasher) and there is the Full/Half Bridge path. How to take the bridge path: don't start from the beginning of the bridge, there is another entrance to the right. Once you're across the bridge there should be a group of Ice Siege Golems, Heretics, Gnashers and a couple of Stone Summit Crushers, let them go to the left, then sneak past while sticking to the right. In this open area there are usually no enemies in your path going to the portal(except for the some Heretics at the end that rarely appear, let them turn around and they will head South).
:::Mineral Springs:::
{{{{{THIS IS THE SAFEST WAY}}}}}
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...oosterx/10.jpg
Now you are in Mineral Springs, run past the two groups of Avicara to a safe spot, heal and wait for sprint to recharge. Now is a good time to use Shields Up! to gain fifty armor and a chance of evading projectiles. Once past the second big group stop here, first Stop:
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...roosterx/1.jpg
Now there should be a group of Avicara, follow them. {If there is...} When the Avicara turn the corner and there is a group of Pinesoul's, run North as far as you can to the wall, while avoiding their barbed traps. Once the Avicara turn the corner they should follow the path while walking all the way around in a U-turn, you're going to take a short cut through. As shown in This picture. Second stop:
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...roosterx/4.jpg
Now run past these groups of Avicara and you'll see a Resurrection Shrine, run there if the Avicara are still following you, run to the left past some Tundra Giants, you should use Shields Up! here too. Now make way for the narrow path to the left. Stop to heal then you should see a group of Avicara with a boss intermixed, there should be a giant rock. When you have aggravated this group, cast Shields Up! about three feet from where you align with the giant rock. Use Sprint, to run past them, to the opening, keep on watch for Avicara. Third stop:

If there are groups run past them and make haste to the right.
:::ICE CAVE::: :::Ice Imp's Lair:::
If you get a spawn such as this...
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...x/Badspawn.jpg
:::Trouble At The Mouth Of Ice Imps LAIR:::
There are Avicara and Ice Imp's at the beginning of the Ice Cave, you will have to be sneaky. Try to pull the ice imps back 30 feet or so. Make sure you have Mantra of frost, Shields Up! activated and when they use Mind Freeze on you Use Dolyak Signet. Pull back and kill Ice Imps while using Mantra of frost (When it ends) Shields Up!, Doylak Signet, Watch yourself! and Healing Signet ( If needed.)
Then go die at the Avicara (unless you can run half way through the cave with no Ice Imps insight. When in the Ice Cave use the same skills as you did outside or at the beginning of the cave. Before you go into the battle make sure you cast Mantra Of Frost. Now what Mantra of Frost does at lvl 8 Inspiration Magic it Reduces 39% of all cold damage and lasts sixty-two seconds. Use Shields Up! and when the Ice Imps cast Mind Freeze on you, use Dolyak signet. Fighting the Ice Imps is easy, hit them with Eviscerate and if it tries to cast Maelstrom on you interrupt it, if you have an interrupting skill.
:::Trouble in the Caves:::
Now if there are Trolls allied with the Ice Imps, focus on taking the Trolls out first. Only aggravate one group with a Troll if the Troll(s) have all their defensive skills used(i.e. recharging), Mantra of Frost, Watch Yourself, Shield's Up, and Dolyak Signet. Use Eviscerate on the Troll(s) and make sure you watch what skills it is using, when healing pay close attention to what the Troll is using, if it is using Disrupting Chop and you are casting Healing Signet press ESC to end the cast of that skill so it doesn't get disabled for twenty seconds. (One time I got my Disrupting Chop disrupted by the troll's Disrupting Chop.) Once the Troll(s) is/are dead, head for the Ice Imps. Now it is very important to make sure you have been using your Defensive skills immediately when they are available. You don't have to worry about Maelstrom interrupting your skills because you have signets and instant cast skills.

:::Canyon To The Seer:::
When you have cleared the cave, if your server has the favor of the gods kneel Before the Statue of Lyssa and buy up to 10% morale(100 gold) and Dwayna's Blessing(50 gold). This helps you a lot! Now make you way up the ramp, you'll end up in a narrow alley with a ferocious Ice Beast, an army of Azure Shadows will rise from the ground. Before you attract the Ice Beast's full attention, slowly tap the "W" button so you don't aggravate the whole group of Azures. Once you have about three or four Azure aggravated, use Dolyak Signet to prevent knock down, walk back a little bit so you don't aggravate the rest of the Azures. If you have Cyclone Axe equipped don't use it because the Azures have Holy Wrath activated, you will essentially be killing your self, just kill one by one. Don't worry about the fat Ice Beast and go aggravate the rest of the Azure, kill them.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...Azurekillz.jpg
Now you can take on the Ice Beast easily if you have a Disrupting skill (I prefer Disrupting chop, twenty seconds the skill interrupted is disabled.) Always disrupt the Ice Beast's Mist Form, if you don't, you have to wait ten seconds until the skill ends. Kill the Ice Beast and make your way through the canyon to the Seer, there will probably be a bunch of Ice Imps, assassinate them.
Since people have been farming these things to death, drops are really rare, I get an Icy Dragon Sword every two to four runs, rezoning in Tasca's Demise after each cave clearing.
