Well, I really am annoyed.

I got an ATI Sapphire Radeon 9600 PRO Advantage Graphics Card for Christmas, and well, I'm on the verge of madness.

Previously, I had a 9250, worked fine. So when I tried putting my 9600 in, it'd just not load my Login Screen, just the light blue background. So, I put my old 9250 in, ran the Driver Update disc that came with my 9600, *then* put my 9600 in, ran fine...but then...my monitor starts turning of from the green to orange light as if it's on standby.

So I tried putting my old 9250 in (which worked before), now, my Monitor won't come at all, it'll turn on Green, start up PC, it'll turn Orange again as if it's on standby...it won't work at all now with my old 9250 or my new 9600.

I've tried taking the Graphics Card out and used the built-in card that was with it when I got my PC, it doesn't work.

I've tried taking out my speakers, mouse, keyboard etc to see if it was Power, it's not...

I've tried a different monitor with all the different ways I said above, doesn't work...

I need to change my monitor's refresh rate, but how am I supposed to when my Monitor won't even come on so I can see what I'm doing or see if it's actually working anyway?

[EDIT]
Also, the Card is connected properly, as it even made the click.

My friend's friend said it's either:
- AGP Slot is Broken
- Corrupt Motherboard (in the process of being told to set motherboard to default or something doing something with a pin and jumper and such)
- Both my Cards are Broken from trying them too much
- Fault in 1 of them (but it can't be as they both worked before)
Help?

Thanks,
Josh

Ok...so no one knew.

Well, I reset my Motherboard to Factory default taking of a jumper on my Motherboard, works good now, my PC actually turns on now with my 'new' Graphics Card, I've got my new Card's Driver installed and everything.

Now, 1 problem remains:

My monitor turns of as if it's on standby (green light to orange light) after around 5 minutes of me being logged in.

- Solution anyone?

[EDIT]
I also keep getting this error, only this time, managed to get it typed down:

Windows has just recovered from a serious error *went to details*:
