Kessex's Peak holds nothing other than Villainy of Galrath and the monsters ARE pretty high leveled.

I'd say travel to the very back of "The Falls" and slaughter the mesmer things. They're as good a thing as any to drop something special.

Ebon Dragon Sword you can only get from killing one of the 5 dragons in Majestys rest. Perfect place, Secluded and dragons giving dragons swords make perfect sense.
No, last time I went there we killed them with 3 level 20s (Warrior, Monk, Necro) and owned them. They dropped 10 bones and 101 coins :P. Havent been there since.

Here is a pointer 
Instead of making different models and making them drop from monsters and cause the inconviniece why cant the devs add a feature to upgrades: the upgrades will actually affect the overall appearence on the applied weapon.
Infact apply this to ALL weapons: for example if a a cleaver has a Shocking upgrade why not have the blades glow electricity time to time?
For more detail I have provided a picture of Fable, a game that shows what I am describing, the game features augmentation effects like upgrades [Firey, shocking]

I just went down to "The Falls" to the statue and cleared everything near it, all I got was some gold items, silvers dyes and purple weaps. Anyone know wheres theres more Statues.. maybe some near Grand Drakes in Kryta > Riverside?

I'd personally love to have a full set, one with each type of element, so I can switch as needed and do wicked damage on any type of elemental enemy. Does anyone know if Air and Earth count as opposites in GW, like Fire and water do?

Mineral Springs is one of those nearly useless explorable areas. No quests (except the Titan Quest, but that doesn't count! ) and no towns. Just collector's and lots of things to see. I think that's why ANet chose that area to place the IDS, noone ever goes there.
Now if there are any other special items like the IDS, I'd say they'd be in those nearly useless explorable areas. Some I can think off:
Deldrimor Bowl, Iron Horse Mine, The Falls, Dragon's Gullit, Deldrimor Bowl, Talmark Wildnerness and Majesty's Rest.
Now if there was a team that feels like exploring a couple of these places, I'd definitly join with my monkage. If anyone has time for this, please tell me, maybe we can set up a 6-man team to go through these places.
@ Sarrow, WOAAAAH, FABLE! My favorite RPG by far. Too bad you play through whole Fable: The Lost Chapters in about 3 hours.

I doubt that there will be any more Dragon Swords beyond Fiery and Icy. However, with the appearance with the (as yet unconfirmed) Terror Shield, perhaps ANet is planning to do this with a variety of new items? I hope so... my ranger is jealous of my warrior for getting all the cool stuff

Having Ebon and Shocking Dragon swords would be cool, yes, but...
As someone somehwere in this thread said, where's the cool hammer? Surely we need some kind of glowing hammer, or maybe like a gold/silver hammer with pretty inscriptions on it.
Also, Chaos Axes aren't that great...if we've got all these cool swords, there should be more cool axes...for example, a 'Skytrail Handaxe', a handaxe that glows slightly and leaves a path in the air when it moves.
