Well Malinon's Sheild has +45/-2 enchanted. Yes, it requires tactics instead of Str, but I think now-a-days people realize the potential of tactics. If you can't find a buyer at 20-30k, I'd give you 15k for it, based on Malice's PC. It's not worth 20-30K to ME, so I understand if you don't want to sell it.

My opinion is gold > green if u can mod. For shields, if the skin is comparable, I would think they should be equal.
