Yesterday i got scammed for 60K in WCD (I let you guys guess who scammed me, they told me yesterday hes famous in scamming ).
And so i though about a little change in the trading system, when you hit the button accept, you'll get a message like: "are u sure u want to trade <item> for <amount>?"
What do you guys think of this little change?

I got scammed to about 3 weeks ago and also posted the idea but it got removed......i think there are a zillion posts about this becouse it happend a lot. anyway, its a good idea and they should realy do something about this problem.
Sparks Dawnbringer

Altho i haven't been scammed so far (knock on wood) I personally think that all scammers who get busted should be banned for life.
As Guild Wars is a free online game Anet won't be losing anything & gamers would feel a bit safer knowing that there was one less scammer roaming the towns.

as no one has said this yet, i will be the first. it is YOUR responsibility to double-check the items/gold in the trade window before clicking the accept button. always be patient when trading and never click it without being sure.
and before anyone bring this up, there is NO WAY for someone to edit the trade and switch items without you being asked to accept again. your previous acceptance is nulled, and you must accept again if a trade is modified in any way. so, ALWAYS double check before pressing 'accept.'

YOU put that 60k in the window, and you saw EXACTLY what you were going to receive, this is not ANet's battle. All ya have to do is be more cautious and observant.
