You know I see alot of people talking bout how their build is better than anyone else's. I would love to see a One-on-One arena where we could go and challenge a single person to a PVP match. I don't know about yall, but I would love to take a couple of people in there just to see if they really do have a better build. Anyways what are some of yalls thoughts on this?

And it's still a terrible idea. Might as well just play rock-paper-scissors.

It might be useful for testing flag runner ideas.

At times I would love this, but honestly it would make the W/Mo's think that they are good. And all it would do is have 3 hour plus battles waiting to see which err 7 first.

If they wanted to do anything like this and have it show any level of skill, then 2v2 would be the way to go.

it actually will be a great idea.

im talking about races (get from point A to B), 1v1 brawls and pve survivals.

races will have obstacles and hexes.
survival matches will have all kinds of enemies, using enchantement strips and hexes.
1v1 will either be random (fight your own profession) or chalange-based.

you will be suprised at how many W/Mo will get owned by a W/N or W/Me... there will probably be warriors using only spells!

there should be no reward for this. no faction or fame or anything.

that is my opinion... but it has just been suggest soooooooo many times before, im bored repeating the exact same opinion 200 times a day.

Sounds like Special Olympics for Guild Wars. Might I suggest this is not the most necessary of features?

I would be nice if you were able to pick who you would want to fight AND have a random competition arena going for those who w ant to participate.

More often and not, my guild leader and I (though we are VERY good friends) argue about the dumbest things. I would truely love it if I were able to contest myself over him.

The beauty of one on one dueling while picking your opponent...well it can be used solely for testing. i.e. Sup Absorption vs Major Absorbtion; This armor vs that; and all those little differences. Of course, no fame and faction would be awarded to the winner of there one on one battles ^^.

Hm I think it would be nice to Party up with an opponent[ Let's say you get into an argumentin Team arenas, and challenge them in a duel in 1V1] at the speciefied location and hit enter mission. Then you get warped into a Box shapped invornment, let's say 150-200 Yards in width and depth. Then duel it out to see who actually is the best Build-wise. Or make a command [ /Duel] and you can duke it out in town or in a specified spawn area.

This can be best handled by the Guild practice-area which should be in the second chapter. There is no need for there to be an arena.

Do you realize that there is no 1v1 in this game? I say this because although I know that in pvp the character I run in random arena's will win 85% of the time in a 1v1 and she still does very well in a team, I could never beat someone who is running a specific 1v1 build. How many of you tanks could ever beat a 55 monk? None of you. And how many ele's like myself could bring enough enchant removal to beat one? Not me.

You could argue that a runner in GvG will face people 1v1 and this might help to test it out but even that is flawed. A runner won't fight as much 1v1 as it will against another team though.

Face it, 1v1 isn't even worth the effort in this game. Just I wish it was.
