Whenever I complete the bonus in a cooperative mission, my computer freezes just as the "mission shield icon" appears and the sword goes through it. This is my one and only known issue with GW.

System Specs:

Windows XP Pro
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.20GHz
Nvidia GeForce 5500 FX (Driver 78.01)
DirectX 9.0c
1GB RAM

I look at the time that my comp freezes, and these are the event viewer logs in the APPLICATION section.

What do you think is wrong here? Perhaps Norton is interfering, which is odd, since its firewalls, etc DO allow GW permission to access the internet/network, and, as I said above, this is my only issue with GW...

I had the exact same problem... Dunno if i still have it (no bonuses doing atm)
But I think it has to do cuz of overheating.. Or, it might be just GW..
Does your screen flickers sometimes?

No, it doesn't. For point of ref, my monitor (and GW resolution) is 1024x768, 85Hz refresh rate for both the monitor and GW.

UPDATE I did Kilnn Testibrie's bonus quest (I didn't before since I had the glitch where one wreckage would never hold his armor piece). I turned my graphic quality all the way to the lowest possible before speaking with him. It lagged a moment when the shield icon appeared, but I didn't crash. Doesn't matter. If I don't find a permanent solution, I'll just lower my quality (and cross my fingers) each time I'm about to finish a bonus. :P
