I've built many characters and taken them through the entire game, but this will be the first warrior/elementalist for me. Anyone have any tips for defeating my mirror/doppleganger?
I've taken him to Perdition Rock already, so suggest any skills for me to use. If I dont have it, I can buy it.

You can either wail on him, or you can bring firestorm, wait for him to cast it, move, and then cast yours. (<--- I think that's how it goes.)

Bring frenzy and when he uses it kill him.

Bring Frenzy and then just trade blows.. Don't use it yourself, but when he uses it, he gets 2x damage but he only hits 33% faster, so you gain a 67% advantage. For the rest of the skills, bring useless crap (since he has whatever you bring), or don't even bring anything at all.

Am i the only W/E who beat the doppleganger with just a hammer with no skills. I just hammer away on him... till he died!

The basic idea to beat the Doppleganger is bring some uesless or harm to self skill, which you never use it. Put 1-4 like Elementalist's enchantment, and don't bring any skill for ele profession, he just waste time and energy to cast those spell, you have already done some damage to him. For warrior, Doppleganger doesnt use Shield Stand in my earlier fight, so you can take advantage on this.

If you're a Warrior, Frenzy = death to the doppleganger, because he will use it. Generally, you don't have to do anything else, let him pop frenzy, hit him with a couple power attacks while he's frenzied, he's gonna be dead.

No warrior should have any difficulty killing their dopple. You don't have to do a single thing, just hack away at it basically. The only mildly difficult dopples are the monk ones.

The doppel warrior is extremely easy. I inadvertently pressed frenzy half-way through and still beat him ^^

as a W/Mo I brought a pile of useless monk skills and savage slash and cut sever artery... had him killed and got the bonus

When I fought him with mine I just brought my usual skills, used them and still beat him. Got bonus and all. I recall using frenzy and sprint and all that. You outdamage him easy.
