Is anyone else sick of losing party members to lag (among other things) and the whole group not being able to finish a quest because of diminished ranks?
ANet should provide some way for players who drop/lag out/glitch out/otherwise leave an instanced game to return to the instance they left. Obviously the character would be required to have the same inventory items, attribute distribution, and skill setup that the player had when the drop occurred, and the game would have to remember any accrued death penalty/morale boost that the player had when he/she dropped.
Blizzard had a form of this in Diablo with named games that could be joined at will. ANet would have to do a few things differently (like those mentioned above) to ensure the feature couldn't be abused, but incorporating something like this seems well within reach.

Excellent idea.
How horrible is it to loose all your monks when you are in serious battle? It just happent to me, we lost 3 monks in FoW...

use him and you will find this has been talked to death before.
Anet is working on it but until they have something they feel is completely secure forget it.

So I guess a bit OT, but since the search button police are already here, in addition to the suggestion above about returning to instances from which one has been dropped, I also suggest a relevance sort on the GWG Forum Search results.
Back on-topic, thanks for the info on ANet working on this. Any idea how long they've been on it?
